You see, I should really keep my mouth shut, since I lost my job because of artificial intelligence and I’ve started growing eggplants. But there are some things I just can’t keep in.
How come people working at Anthropic or OpenAI make half a million a year, and I’m here growing eggplants?
One of these guys making half a million a year comes out and says: “Folks, I quit because artificial intelligence is too dangerous.” And funnily enough, within two weeks he’s done the fifty biggest podcasts on the planet telling this nonsense.
Who pays?
So who is paying for all this traffic? Who is paying the guy who walked away from half a million a year to go around telling these tall tales - artificial intelligence rebelling, killing everyone?
Who pays to keep these servers running, to build the data centers? Who pays for the water? Who pays for the energy? Who pays for the models?
And we, the suckers, swallow it.
